We discovered the client was selling their services based on price which had been the focus of all of their sales material. We recommended they change the focus to their high level of service. Feedback from key clients and a competitive analysis confirmed this strategy. Analyzing the method of distribution for the new sales material, we determined the best size and format for a brochure leading into the design phase of the project. With the collaboration of our copywriter the creation of their new tagline was born: “It’s not just about equipment.“

IBC (INTERNATIONAL BONDED COURIERS)

THE NEED
Update a 25 year old logo reflecting this wholesale courier so they could effectively break out into the retail business competing with the likes of FedEx.

THE PROCESS
We started by creating a new Corporate Identity (Logo) based on the image the client wanted to convey. After our competitive analysis, we determined the best visual mark to reflect the company’s outstanding speed of service making them stand out among their mainstream competitors. We handled all aspects of preproduction through design and implementation of the marketing strategy, corporate identity redesign, design and printing of all sales folders as well as preparation of artwork for the airplanes.

THE NEED
Design new sales sheets for manufacturer of high end Olive Oil to increase wholesale business.

THE PROCESS
Their sales process was impeded by the lack of pizzaz & sexiness of the existing sell sheet’s design. Our solution was to create a compelling sell sheet while utilizing the existing budget. We recommended using the front of the sell sheet to be more interesting and enticing. In collaboration with Mr. Sensat, the owner, we suggested a photo shoot to bring out the “sexiness” of the olive oil. We handled all aspects of the redesign from the hiring of the food photographer and art direction during the photo shoot to overseeing the printing and delivery of the final product.

Defining the target audience and identifying what made their services successful to existing clients was the foundation for the marketing plan. We incorporated functionality to the sales brochure by adding a folder on the back pocket for personalized documents. A postcard direct mail campaign for lead generation followed.

Design a new, less complicated leave-behind brochure to compliment a sales call or to send with a proposal.

THE PROCESS
The client wanted to print a small quantity for their niche sales effort. Since digital printing was new at this time, we knew we could print a small quantity that would save the client money from high minimums with traditional, commercial printing. The existing marketing material was cumbersome and overloaded with information belaboring the sales process. Our first task was to establish the right marketing message. Our second task was to make the material poignant and easy to read with a simple, clean design.
